MEET THE DESIGNER

Carolina Lopez Pendones is a fashion designer born and bred in Dominican Republic. At an early age her passion for fashion was palpable, a passion that drove her to participate in a fashion show with five original pieces at the age of 16. She completed three short courses, Fashion Design, Fashion Illustration and Pattern Making in Altos de Chavon School of design (2012-2013).

 

In 2013 she moved to Milan and enrolled in Istituto Marangoni where she studied fashion design. After living in Milan for 4 years she moved to Madrid in the search of growing her knowledge about the industry. In 2018 she completes a course in Styling and Fashion Production at Conde Nast College. After finishing her experience abroad she moved back to Santo Domingo and started working as the creative director of a fashion brand. 

 

In 2019 she launched her brand called Changing Creatures during Dominicana Moda with a collection called “The Wild Ones”.
